I’m Anita; a food and travel obsessed yogi, and a certified Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (FNTP). Nutritional Therapy is a holistic approach to understanding one’s own bio-individuality, which is the idea that each person has unique dietary and lifestyle factors that play a role in achieving optimal health.
I am passionate about helping you become the best version of yourself by teaching you to listen to YOUR body and empowering you to make conscious decisions to support your body’s needs. You are more than your cravings, more than your thoughts, and you are more than enough as you are. The wonderful part of my job is that I get to connect with you through your food!
My own journey with nutrition and wellness has had quite a few twists and turns, when I was surprisingly diagnosed with cancer in 2007. In his song “Anthem,” Leonard Cohen wrote, “It’s the cracks that let the light in,” and cancer cracked me right open. That openness set me on the journey of really listening to my body. We all need to be an advocate for ourselves, become a nutritional detective, and cultivate mindfulness around how we nourish our bodies. I’ve learned that I can trust my body and myself – and so can you. My purpose is to share my knowledge, experience, and passion for food to create a more thoughtful and deliberate approach to your individual wellness.
